Ford City Borough’s 2025 Fall Trash Days will be October 21 and 22nd. Items may be brought to 2ND Ave by the Borough Garage. The drop off times for October 21 and 22nd are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A ticket provided by the Ford City Borough Office will be required to drop off a load. Each household is allotted 2 free tickets. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Ford City Borough Office starting October 13th through October 17th during office hours. RULES FOR TRASH DAYS
- 1 ticket per load.
- 2 tickets per household.
- 1 load = 1 car trunk, SUV hatch, pickup truck or 8ft utility trailer.
- 2 loads = 1 vehicle plus (1) 8ft utility trailer.
- NO COMMERCIAL BOX-TRUCKS OR BOX-TRAILERS, 8ft utility trailers allowed.
- 1 large item per household, i.e., 1 mattress, 1 sofa, 1 chair, 1 entertainment unit, etc.
- No refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, humidifiers, or any items containing freon.
- No tires, no batteries, no paint, no oil, and no building materials.
- One appliance per type (washer, dryer, oven)
- No duplicates of furniture
- No electronics such as computers, monitors/screens, printers, electric typewriters, fax machines, radios, or TV’s.
- Must present proof of residency (driver’s license, water bill etc.) to confirm residency and receive tickets.
