Ford City Borough Council is a participant of RAVE Alert, an emergency calling system used to alert residents when the borough is presented with emergencies. By having this service, we are able to keep all Ford City residents better informed regarding emergencies and community activities. For example: All residents will be notified about waterline repairs and be advised that this may have an effect on their water service. A thirty second phone message will advise everyone on serious weather conditions, flooding, etc. Also, the same thirty second message could be used to warn all residents about road closing, town events, etc.
