In accordance with Ford City Borough Ordinance No. 599, a curfew is in effect for all individuals under the age of 18.
Curfew Hours:
Effective year-round, minors are prohibited from loitering or being outdoors in public places after 10:00 PM, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or possessing a newly written, signed, and dated note from their parent or guardian stating the minor is out on an emergency errand.
This ordinance is intended to promote the safety and well-being of minors and to reduce late-night disturbances and loitering within the Borough.
The Borough’s curfew chime sounds nightly at 10:00 PM as a reminder of this policy.
